It is with great dismay that we bring to your attention a deeply distressing incident that occurred Wednesday in our store. Regrettably, surveillance footage reveals a father/adult accompanied by two teenage boys engaged in a coordinated effort to commit the theft of two pairs of high-end shoes, a Nike VaporMax and a men’s Ecco, valued at $350.
We understand that theft is not uncommon, and we hesitate to reach out to the public during this special time of year, but the egregious nature of this lapse in moral judgment on the part of this adult male is particularly disconcerting. One would expect a father/adult to be a role model for their children, instilling values of honesty, integrity, and respect. This is not a case of need but one of privileged entitlement.
Our local law enforcement authorities have been notified, and they are actively investigating the incident. We are reaching out to the public to help identify the perpetrators. They were driving a 2011 Lexus SUV with a Massachusetts license plate 3ZNW27 and are believed to be from the greater Woburn, MA area.
Alec’s Shoes would appreciate any help from the general public to identify these people. All tips will be held in strict confidence. Please contact Alex or Dan at (603-882-6811) or the Nashua Police Department at (603-594-3500). Thank you for your help and we wish everyone the best this Holiday Season. #woburnma #theft #woburnmassachusetts #woburnhighschool #woburn @wbztv @wcvb5 @7news
